haha for our RME(reliqious and moral education) class, Brother Michael took us as our contigency teacher. well, he was talking about the past, present, and future. he was sort of motivating us to move on. he was talking about some thingy(can't remember..sleeping..woots..)
"in the past, your maid asks you to bend down, she graps a fork and she "forks" you. then she keeps forking you everytimg she's stressed."
haha interesting example of forking..haha anyway morale is " think of the future ahead, don't be stuck in the past just because of a hard fork!!! hahahahahahahahaha..
what a suggestive word..fork..interesting usage in english...

WEIRD NAMES

My lecturer said in a lecture(duh..) :
many hokkien businessmen would not buy the honda concerto car because of its name: Concerto---sounds like Gong Si Dou in hokkien meaning "company collaspe"
Alfa rome 164---in cantonese and chinese is yi lu si---like one way die?
fiat punto or something---haha not sure what this is but in hokkien means something..

there was a restaurant in okhaido, japan. it was called Fuk Mi Sushi restaurant.. haha i know..the name..haha i was like.. imagine this...

Grandma has passed on..

ok, here's a really sad update on my life: i was sleeping when my mom came in and said" grandma's dead." i was like "ok.." before it registered.. went for the wake on starting on thursday..skipped school then.
Day 1
burned papers and more papers..helped to fold gold ingots to fill 30 bags!!
Day 2
went to school and went back to wake....burned and burned..studied...slept on the hard wooden floor..
Day 3
Burned papers in shift...slept at 1.30 woke at 7.30 to do my shift..burning...do ritual..bow and bow and bow..
day 4
go for the ritual..final send off.. she was sent for cremation today..the mandai crematorium and columborium was freezingly cold..saw the coffin get pushed in..
many cried..i didn't because i was not really close to her...sadly..i feel sad for my grandpa...his only partner died before him and he's 90? poor him...luckily he seems ok..

oh well, life is fragile...cherish it and everyone around..
