DAY 3 OF HANGZHOU.. (EDIT)

oooh.. went to the Traditional Chinese Medicine museum which was built way back in the Qing dynasty.. dang cool house.. it's sooo big!!! i wanna have a house just like that!! it may be haunted though.. anyway.. the museum showcased a lot of stuffed animals!! they had this bear that had a paw cut off. So they stuffed the bear and they stuffed the paw.. and they took the gall bladder out too. All in the same exhibit. omg they even stuffed a cute lil bunny.. TCM is weird.. u can eat geckos to cure some common illness or alternatively u could just pop a pill in? Eating geckos? yuck.. not coool..

Stuffed cheetah..or leopard..definitely not lion though.. hmm.. :)

After the TCM museum, we went to the Cultural street of Hangzhou, which is rather boring cos all they sell are traditional costumes and stuff.. BUT they had this dang cool archery shop all the way at the end. You could shoot an arrow for RMB 1.. so we played 15 arrows or RMB 15.. I got 1 or 2 bull-eyes.. wheeew~~ ahahahaha dang fun.. i shot using the crossbow, longbow and short bow.. crossbow's the easiest to use and a lot of power.. short bow's the hardest.. very inaccurate.. dang.. i got an abrasion on my left arm where the bow string whipped it.. :( ahhahahah but it's still fun!!!

We headed to the Tea Museum next for a visit.. very nice.. the greenery and everything is alot nicer than back in Singapore. Somehow, the leaves here in Hangzhou are greener and crisper than those back here. i like the trees here!! hahaha we were given free sample of the highest quality Longjing tea.. which is green tea.. but produced in Hangzhou.. We could buy the tea if we wanted at RMB 300 per can for the highest grade and RMB 120 per can for the lowest grade. A lot of people bought a lot and the person helped us overpack the containers. She would pack the can full of tea leaves first, then dump a whole pile more on top and squeeze down, jamming all the extra leaves inside.. so we got more tea leaves for the same price.. hahahaha and they were giving away a free small bottle of tea for every purchase of 3 big cans or RMB 900.

Since it was still early, we headed straight for Suzhou with only one rest stop in between the 3 hours drive. The rest stop was dang cool.. there would always be someone there cleaning the floor leading to the toilets and the toilets had this huge carpet in front of it that stated the day of the week. So every single day, they would need to change the mat to suit the correct day.. dang coool..

Finally reached Suzhou!! We stayed at the Suzhou Conference hotel which is absolutely coool!! It's 5 stars? according to Kathleen.. We were lucky enough to stay at the new block which was ultraaaa coool.. they had internet connection wired to every room, automatic sensors that determine when the porch light goes on, etc. And me and yiwen got the room with the pool view!!! XDD hahahahhaaha yiwen was like looking out every now and then.. hahahahahha and we found out there's a bowling alley!! So a few of us sneaked out to go play!! k it's not really sneaking out, cos the bowling alley is located in the next block.. Then George and John didn't manage to sneak out successfully.. they got caught by Mr. Karl Lee and went back to their rooms. They tried again but this time Mr. Gary Sim was there and they had to sneak out a third time just to get to us.. hahahahah one game in the bowling alley is quite cheap.. only RMB 15 per game. but the alley and the balls were rather old.. :( hahahhaha but we still had loads of fun.. Justin would touch my ass before i bowled to "curse" me to get a gutter ball.. strangely it worked!! hahahahahhahha dang.. i must have been traumatised or something.. hahahhahahaha

Yiwen looking at his ball roll.. sounds wrong.. hmm.. :D
