DAY 2 OF HANGZHOU.. (EDIT)

Wheeew.. went to Zhejiang Provincial museum this morning.. took a lot of coool shots there.. all the ancient artefacts and stuff.. had to design a brochure to promote it which i am not very good at.. hahahahahhaha

YueFei's tomb was up next. YueFei is one of the famous generals throughout Chinese history.. His actual tomb is based here.. and there were the statues of the 4 people who betrayed him kneeling down in front of his tomb. During the days of the cultural revolution, u could spit or pee on them!! cool eh? But now, it's not allowed.. Poor guy died on a charge of "maybe there is or maybe there isn't". i bought a coin with YueFei on it and "JING ZHONG BAO GUO" on the other side. dang coool.. only RMB 3.. i think i'm gonna display it somewhere.. XD

2 of the 4 traitors.. u can spit or pee on them if u want to? which i didn't..XP

Look!!! My chinese name!!!

On the way to lunch to eat the famous Hangzhou dish called "Dongpo rou", we though of a group name for those who eat at the same table. So it's me, yiwen, jun teng, tim, george, john, terence lim, lu han. We called ourselves the "Black Dogs". hahahahha George came up with it.. And for our group of 5 comprising of George, Lu Han, Terence lim, Tim and i, we decided to call ourselves "Stealth" cos u can't see us.. hahahahahhaha dang coool group name!! we invented the stealth clap by accident, cos jun teng was giving george a high-5 and he pretended to miss cos he "can't" see george.. hahahahahha we adopted that clap and called it the "stealth clap". Then came the Stealth group clap later on..

After lunch we went to Wahaha, which is one of the biggest company in China dealing with beverage.. Yeps.. it's almost everywhere.. We were shown into the boardroom and they played a video on Wahaha. We got to see the production line of Wahaha which is something no other tourist would be able to see cos it's sooooo private.. The automation was really coool.. all the guy had to do was put unopened cartons on the machine, and the machine would automatically bang it into a carton, seal the bottom, and it's ready to be packed with bottles. There's even another machine to seal the top before it gets shipped off. It's really different from watching it on t.v. Before we left, we got a free sample of the Apple Yoghurt drink that Wahaha produces!! It was still hot as it was just fresh off the production line. :D tasted quite nice!!

Next it was the Lin Biao Museum Project 704. Lin Biao was Mao Tze Tung's successor, but he tried to assasinate Mao and he did all his planning in his hidden palace underground, which we went to. It was fabulous.. the tunnels are designed in such a way that the wind would always blow through and the temperature is always cool.. there's something interesting bout this place.. if u go there 1 day, look at the walls and ceilings.. there are footprints all over the place.. those footprints were left by Mao's supporters. They stomped on the walls to show their anger at Lin Biao. Lin Biao is quite a weird guy. He's afraid of water and light. So his house needs to be waterproof and his windows have 3 layers. The first layer is a normal glass window, the second is to prevent UV rays from coming in and the third is bulletproof. quirky..

Inside the underground palace.. my footprint isn't there though.. :(

my adaptor wouldn't fit in.. :(

Had to go back to the hotel after dinner for debriefing and packing.. hahahahahah took a while to pack..

Day 3 below..
